Composer Reinhold Glière is most known for his amazing Third Symphony, as well as being a private composition tutor of Sergei Prokofiev. In addition to his major works, Glière wrote several short pieces for piano, including his Trois Esquisses Pour Piano (Three Sketches for Piano) Op.56. These pieces have lush textures and beautiful melodies; ideal for intermediate level pianists and perfect for any concert program. This volume contains all three miniatures.
