Piano Sonata in F-sharp Minor is one of the earliest surviving pieces of Stravinsky’s repertoire. Written between 1903-04, the music gives scholars and music-lovers alike incredible insight into the mind of Stravinsky as a young man. This sonata is composed in four movements, all of which are contained in this volume:
- Allegro
- Vivo (sometimes referred to as Scherzo)
- Andante
- Finale. Allegro-Andante
